Sorry for the delay in blogging, it has been proven very difficult for me to blog. Not only is the internet unreliable, being inspired to blog is easier said than done.
But an update on my adventures on the continent of Africa and my work with Amani. I left over a month ago and have been enjoying my time in Kenya and continue to be blessed by the women at Amani. I am also enjoying all the wildlife, nature, and enjoying the community of people.
Because I feel like I didn’t share much of my time in Liberia, I want to take the time to share some of the experiences from Liberia.
Here is what Amani Liberia’s current building looks like, It is exciting to be a part of this from the beginning. And I can’t wait to have the building up running!
Currently the women of Amani Liberia is working on the back porch of the directors home.
One of the most interesting part of my time in Liberia was training the models, If you know me at all you know I have no grace or ability to model. So coming to Liberia, first to have a few models lessons myself, and training other women in Liberia to trains wasn’t what I was expecting. But watching the beautiful grow and gain confidence was so beautiful!
We spent many hours working on the alterations for the show, there was a wonderful team of volunteers helping with this. What a blessings to have.
Hiking in the mines was so refreshing. They are breathtaking.
I can’t talk about Liberia without talking about the bugs/spiders. I don’t know if I ever can get use to the amount of bugs that are in the house, let alone the size of some of them! But I am defiantly more tolerable to having them around.
Oh, and how about the bug bites. I think that bugs love me almost as much as Jesus does…just saying.
Pineapple! I don’t think I have to say much about the pineapple in Liberia. But it is the best in the world! I couldn’t get enough of it.
Can you do this? I didn’t think so.
West Africa has some of the most amazing fabric, and how nice is it to stop to get a nice coconut while shopping in the heat!

What a blessings from God to have Stephanie to share my experience in Liberia. With, She is such a beautiful women of God and was always there to to help me back up.
